When we started Westralian Commercial Cleaning in the late eighties, we knew we wanted to operate an honest, ethical company, with a focus on more than just the companies’ bottom line.
At Westralian, we understand that a clearly defined Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become part of every company’s long-term strategy, extending across all business channels: marketing, recruiting, risk mitigation and supply chain.
CSR is more than an annual donation or implementing a day of greener business operations. In the simplest terms, it needs integration into everyone’s way of doing business, from the top down.
We have worked hard to create and nurture a strong internal culture. This internal culture is vital in successfully delivering on a commitment to corporate responsibility, covering four areas of focus: Employee Care, Customer Care, Community Care and Environmental Care.
While these areas have relevance in how we approach customer challenges and market opportunities, they also give us the guidelines within which we work.
Corporate Social Responsibility is integrated into every part of Westralian’s business practices and lies at the core of our overall business strategy.

Our employees are empowered to play a critical role in our CSR strategy, at both corporate and local levels. We are proud of our open door policy and welcome all feedback from our staff. COMMUNITY CARE
We encourage our employees to be active members of their local communities, supporting local events and fundraising efforts. Each year we seek out events in which we participate and encourage our staff to join in.
Whether it’s a fun run, a bike hike or a hi-rise plunge, we are committed to participating and contributing to community causes.
ENVIRONMENTAL CARE
We are committed to sustainable, environmental practices, endeavoring to reduce our impact wherever possible. Our use of biodegradable products and our recent Environmental Certification supports this position.
We employ a program of management, continuous improvement and reporting of our direct and indirect impacts which mark our commitment to improving the world in which we live. Being a sustainable company means doing things which sustain us all, including our environment. Recent investments in solar and electric machinery and infrastructure allows us to make a difference, both in the way we operate and our environment.
